Christopher Young EL – Owner
I am currently the Assistant Principal of Barack Obama Elementary School in the Normandy School Collaborative of St. Louis, Missouri.
I have been in education serving as either a teacher or an administrator for 25 years. Education is my calling, I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from Harris Stowe State College; a Master’s Degree in Elementary Administration and Educational Specialist Degree in Secondary Administration with a Middle School Endorsement all from the University of Missouri St. Louis. I am currently pursuing two Doctorates in Education, the first in Curriculum and Instruction from Missouri Baptist University; the second in STEM from the University of Missouri St. Louis.
In line with my love of education and educational opportunities I founded and operate Imani Learning and Leadership LLC, it is a company that focuses on providing educational opportunities. It is my plan to create an all-male charter school; the school will services boys in grades K-12 and will have STEM as the instructional program focus. Outside of education I have been and currently associated with several mentoring organizations that focus on educational choice, improvement and empowerment. A few of those organizations are Call to Oneness, ULead, and the 100 Black Men of Metropolitan St. Louis.
It is because of these things and more why I decided to become a e² Young Engineers Franchisee.
Fa’tina Green – Area Manager
My name is Fa’tina Green and I am the Area Coordinator for e² Young Engineers St. Louis. I have an extensive history in the field of education that includes severing as a tutoring for school based programs; filling in as a substitute teacher prior to becoming certified; to teaching full time in the classroom.
I currently have a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from the University of Missouri-St. Louis; and I recently completed the course work for my Master’s Degree in Education with certification in Gifted Education from Lindenwood University. I am a former teacher in the Normandy School District where I taught for six exciting years.
As an educator I know the importance of providing opportunities in the areas of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) as this is a powerful advancement tool necessary our young scholar’s future careers. I have a passion for teaching and a drive for aiding in the success of our young scholars. I am very excited to be working beside other great educators in this program. I have a firm belief and commitment to our future leaders and successors of tomorrow!
Tera Roberts – Office Manager
Tera Roberts currently works for a local bank in St. Louis, Missouri as a Tax Analyst/Tax Coordinator. Tera has been in the financial industry for 28 years. Tera has experience with accounting functions such as accounts receivable, payable, financial reporting and analysis. Tera experiences also include Federal, State, and local tax reporting, filing, and preparation, Estate planning, budgeting and forecasting.
Tera Has a BS in Business Administration concentration in Accounting and a MBA with a concentration in Human Resource Management. Tera also is a Missouri Licensed Insurance Producer and an IRS registered Tax Professional.
Tera is a member of her company’s Development Network Board serving as the Ambassador Coordinator, Lutheran Family Children Services Operating Board, and is currently on the United Way Volunteer Allocations panel and pilot Volunteers Savings Coach program.
